Natural hydrogen

the new deal

A major scientific discovery

With current technologies, hydrogen must be manufactured (gray, blue, green). It is therefore considered a ” vector ” rather than a ” source ” of energy.

The recent discovery, in various parts of the world, of hydrogen in its molecular form, is a game-changer: the Earth’s subsoil containshydrogen in its natural state, and potentially in substantial quantities.

The natural hydrogen of the future: this is a production method that is not only innovative, but also clean and economically viable, at a much lower cost than green hydrogen.

Natural factories in our subsoil

Various geological processes could be responsible for the natural production of hydrogen beneath the Earth’s surface.

Local Project Evaluations

Producing natural hydrogen and sustainably utilizing resources to benefit local communities

Beyond the production of natural hydrogen, each project represents an opportunity to create value in its region. Depending on the characteristics of the discovered deposit, existing infrastructure, and local needs, various value-added solutions may be considered.

Local Low-Carbon Electricity Generation

Natural hydrogen can contribute to the production of carbon-free electricity and heat as close as possible to local communities, thereby strengthening their energy independence.

Development of Hydrogen-Powered Transportation

Establishment of a hydrogen refueling station for:

  • agricultural vehicles
  • garbage trucks
  • school buses
  • other commercial fleets or local governments

Utilization of Process Heat

The heat naturally generated during hydrogen production can be recovered and utilized locally for various purposes, such as:

  • heating for agricultural greenhouses
  • Heating for Aquaculture Ponds
  • heating for industrial, commercial, or residential buildings
  • drying of agricultural produce

Each project is designed with local activities in mind to maximize the economic, energy, and environmental benefits for the region.
