He highlights the pioneering role of Terrensis, which through its subsidiary TBH2 Aquitaine holds the first Exclusive Research Permit for natural hydrogen granted in France, covering 225 km² in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques region. It also highlights the fact that natural hydrogen is not a fossil fuel, that it is continuously generated underground when all the geological criteria are met, and that it can accumulate in significant quantities. It represents a real opportunity for the emergence of this new sector, which creates value and jobs in the regions.

This publication is a mark of recognition for our innovative and rigorous scientific approach. It aims to discover and exploit accumulations of natural hydrogen, a primary, clean and affordable energy source, to decarbonize over the long term – the great challenge of the coming decades.

Many thanks to all our partners for their support.
